3月4日(水)カリフォルニア州に発令された非常事態宣言を受けて、運営委員会の仲 間と共に、本日、第9回東日本大震災追悼集会中止を正式に決定いたしました。
現在、世界各地で蔓延・拡散している新型ウイルス感染状況など、ここロサンゼルスや日本 において報道されている内容を鑑みての最終的な判断でございますので、皆さまのご理解を よろしくお願い申し上げます。
大震災のときと同様、今回の新型ウイルスの拡大感染は想定外の事態です。言い換えれ ば、今後も自然災害以外に、地球のどこかで人類社会が想像もつかないような事態が突如 発生する可能性を示唆しております。今日は人の身、明日は我が身を心に刻んで、この残 念でかつ安全なお知らせをさせていただきました。
今、大変な想いをされている方々に、それぞれのところから、心を寄せて祈りましょう!
