Love to Nippon 2013

We, together with NBFK (Nichi Bei Fujin Kai) wish to express our deep gratitude for your support in making the Love to Nippon 2013, second anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami a special and moving experience. Held on a beautiful Sunday afternoon of March 10, 2013 at the Ronald F. Deaton Civic Auditorium, Los Angeles Police Department Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, it was a community wide gathering of prayers, remembrance and celebration of the lives forever affected by the tragedy.

The outpouring of love and support from the citizens, volunteers and organizations from local to outlying cities to across the Pacific was evident in the quiet meditation, breathtaking songs and dance and joyous choruses. The sharing of stories resonated and provided an occasion to better educate and prepare for catastrophes in the future. The commitment to continue the discussion and the enduring optimism will carry us as we proceed forward.

Love to Nippon 2014 will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2014. It will feature Fukushima prefecture.
